Drug Drop Off

By: Chelly Boutott
Updated: April 28, 2012

Brown County (WFRV) Some area residents were helping save the environment by keeping old prescription medications from ending up in landfills or flushed down the toilette.

Brown county held another prescription drug take back day Saturday at the Allouez Village Hall.  The event was one of many drop off locations throughout Wisconsin.

It's a great way for the public to safely dispose of unwanted, unused and unsafe prescription medication.

The prescription drugs are then collected by the Brown County Drug Task Force and D.E.A. for disposal.
