Road Trip: Island Resort and Sweetgrass

HARRIS, MI (WFRV) - Local 5 is proud to sponsor a major event in women's golf.

The Island Resort Championship at Sweetgrass is back for a second year in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

It is part of the Symetra Tour, Road to the LPGA.

The young women are competing for a spot on the LPGA tour.

It is a great spectator event with not only the golf, but plenty to do at Island Resort and Casino.

Local 5's Millaine Wells took a Road Trip to Harris Michigan.
