Kaukauna, Wis (WFRV) -Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett made an appearance at the Starlite Club in Kaukauna Saturday evening. It was a night of rallying troops as the Democrats get ready for Tuesday's primary.

The crowd of more than 100 listened Barrett spoke about why it's important to recall Governor Scott Walker. Barrett says as Governor he'll work to bring the jobs Governor Walker has not delivered.

Mahlon Mitchell is on Tuesday's ballot as a candidate for Lt. Governor. The Madison firefighter says real change has to happen from within and that's why he's running to replace Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch. Mitchell says it's important for all the Republicans up for re-recall to be booted from office.

On Tuesday, May 8th is the primary election. The general election is June 5th and voters will not have to show ID to vote, but they will have to sign a log book.
