OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) - Governor Scott Walker made an appearance at Farm Technology Days.

He took in the grounds and even tested out some antique equipment.

The governor spoke about the states plans to help farmers cope with the dry conditions.

"The next phase of this is where you hit the threshold with the Federal Government and you start getting assistance. Obviously a  lot of folks have crop insurance but for those who do not those are all things we have to look at working the Federal Government on as well" says Gov. Walker.

The Governor also addressed the control of the Wisconsin Senate returning to Democrats today.

He says many issues at hand right now are bi-partisan so he is not too worried about getting cooperation.
