GREEN BAY, Wis (WFRV) - A violent beating during a vacation in Wisconsin Dells last month left one Green Bay teen with a lot of serious injuries.

On Saturday, family and friends of Jesse Mancha met at East High School for a "Stop The Violence" benefit concert. Members of Mancha's 2012 graduating class put the benefit together because they want to help his family pay for medical bills that are into the thousands.

Jesse and his girlfriend were walking through a parking lot in Wisconsin Dells when two men made inappropriate comments towards his girlfriend. The 18-year-old confronted them about apologizing and that's when the attack happened. Jesse suffered two jaw fractures that required for his mouth to be wired shut. He also suffered multiple skin abrasions, cuts and soft tissue trauma.

More than 100 people paid $5 to attended the event and some bought t-shirts, wristbands and food.
