OAK CREEK, Wis. (WFRV) New details have been released in Sunday's mass shooting at a Sikh Temple in Oak Creek.

During a news conference Monday morning investigators confirmed the identity of the suspected shooter as Wade Michael Page. While investigators say Page is the lone shooter they are searching for a person of interest who was at the scene.

The 40-year-old was a member of the U.S. Army for six years from 1992 to 1998.

Investigators have yet to release a possible motive for the shooting. Speculation is centering around a theory that this was a race based crime.

The FBI is leading the investigation along with local and other federal agencies.

Investigators have also identified the six victims in the shooting. The victims vary in age from 39 to 84-years-old. One victim was a woman and the five others were men.

Three others were wounded including Oak Creek Police Lt. Brian Murphy. Murphy was shot nine times while trying to confront and disarm Page.

Murphy remains in critical condition at a Milwaukee area hospital.

Local 5 will have team coverage of this shooting tonight at 5 and 6, including Bret Lemoinewho is covering the story from Oak Creek.
