GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Parents at a Green Bay school under fire for testing irregularities will finally see how their children performed on state standardized exams given earlier this school year, except in one subject.

Eisenhower Elementary was under investigation by the Department of Public Instruction for using live test questions from previous WKCE exams to prepare for the upcoming test.

According to the school district, this week parents will receive a packet in the mail with their child's test results, except for the math portion. A letter to parents from interim principal Rebecca Swanson says scores from the math tests will be blacked out because the DPI has declared them invalid.

The DPI threw out the results for the third, fourth and fifth grade math sections, saying students had an unfair advantage when the tests were taken because some teachers used sample practice tests with questions too similar to those on the actual tests.

Principal at the time, Claudia Orr, thought she had approval from the district to preview test questions. Orr has since been reassigned to a position in the district office.

The letter also says these tests are just one of many tools used by the district to gauge the progress of the students.
