Man Drowns During Triathlon

SHERWOOD, Wis. (WFRV) A 42-year-old man from Lagrange, Illinois drown today on Lake Winnebago.

According to the Calumet County Sheriff's Department, Doug Witmer drown just before 8am while taking part in the High Cliff Triathlon, which was held at High Cliff State Park.

The Triathlon was put on by Midwest Sports Events, De Pere, WI.

The incident is still under investigation.
