TOWN OF CLAYTON, Wisc. (WFRV) Satwant Singh Kaleka is being called a hero after his heroic act during the mass shooting in Oak Creek on Sunday.

"He used what he had to protect and fight. He had no fingernails left on his hands, a sign that he used every inch of his breath to fight against a person that killed so many people senselessly," Gurjeet Singh Kaleka said of his uncle.

In part one of her interview, Local 5's Wendy Fleury sat down with the Kaleka family to learn more about the man who used  a ceremonial blunt knife to try and protect his fellow Sikh members.
