Green Bay, Wis. (WFRV) - As the winter chill sets in, prepare to pay a little bit more to heat your home.

Following an unseasonably warm winter last year, this one is expected to be colder.

Some state electricity companies say heating costs could rise 18% this winter, or about $75.

We energies predicts customers in western and south-eastern Wisconsin will be hit the hardest.

For those who use fuel oil, it's harder to predict how your costs will be affected.
