Weston, Fla. (WFRV) - Art Ginsberg, known to many as the television personality "Mr. Food" has passed away at the age of 81.

Over the years, he showed viewers how to cook easy meals to make on a weeknight and was known for his delightfully pleasantly goofy, grandfatherly manner and his tagline "Ooh! It's so good."

He died at his home in Weston, Florida Wednesday morning of pancreatic Cancer.  He was diagnosed with the cancer just over a year ago.  The cancer had been in remission but returned earlier this month.

His segments were aired on 125 local television stations around the country including here at Local 5 News.
