Green Bay, Wis. (WFRV)--WPS Garden of Lights features nearly a quarter of a million twinkling lights. Green Bay Botanical Garden dazzles thousands of visitors throughout the holiday season as it's transformed into a stunning winter landscape featuring botanical light displays inspired by its natural features.

Stroll through a 60-foot caterpillar gleaming with 20,000 LED lights, walk or take a horse-drawn wagon ride through an enchanted icicle forest with 10,000 pure white LED lights, meander through the Weather Walk complete with sounds of rumbles and rain and discover other glistening flowers, butterflies and botanical-themed creations.

The new 2012 WPS Garden of Lights structure 'The Fountain of Lights' is a replica of our stunning Mable Thome Fountain - a favorite of Garden visitors in the summer. Sixteen sprays of lights with five jets projecting upward will shimmer with 7,000 blue and pure white LEDs. Accompanying the fountain are our surrounding twelve Adirondack crabapples gleaming with 10,000 LEDs, each featuring a different hue. The heart of the display has a 16 channel custom controller that will enable the fountain to dance in rhythm with the sounds of the season.
