GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) Former packers wide receiver Don Beebe was in Titletown for a book signing Saturday afternoon. The open house was held at Synergy Fields training facility. The event featured Beebe's new book "Beebe's Six Rings From Nowhere". Also joining Beebe were several other packer players, past and present, including defensive end Mike Neal, and former wide receiver Bill Shroeder. The event allowed Synergy Fields to showcase its new facilities and what it has to offer the community.
"This type of a surface being state of the art, NFL grade turf, allows our local kids to get out on the field and practice the skills and the things they need to compete." said owner Scotty Smith. Former packer's wide receiver Bill Shroeder also commented on the event. "Living in Wisconsin, there's not many places you can go and work out during the winter months. whether its adults or young kids or college kids or professional athletes, we train everybody in here, all sports." Besides his book, Beebe also had packers memorabilia from his playing days available for fans to enjoy.
