BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) How would you like to have $140 to shop for anything you want?  Well, that's what happened to a few local kids Saturday.  It was a common site at various Shopko stores in the area: cops and kids shopping.

Lt. Terry Rottier of the Ashwaubenon Police Department is teamed up with Darshawn McGary.  It's Darshawn's second time taking part in the 18th annual Shop with a Cop.  "You get to buy stuff for your family and some kids can't do this" he told us.

Students from De Pere, Ashwaubenon, Green Bay and Suamico area school districts were picked for this shopping spree.  Over 160 kids got to take part in this shopping experience and they got $140 each to buy anything they want.

Some of these cops are also parents.  Those skills can carry over into their job.
