De Pere, Wis.(WFRV)-- St. Norbert College Religious Studies Professor Tom Bolin says Pope Francis the First is not only the first non-European Pope, but the first Jesuit to be Pope.  As a Jesuit, his papacy will be more no-frills than his predecessors, according to Professor Bolin.
That's based on Pope Francis returning to wearing his cossak rather than the more elaborate papal robes and vestments.

Local Five's Terry Kovarik has much more in his report.
