Doctor saves soldiers in operating room and under fire

SHAWANO COUNTY (WFRV) This week's Hometown Hero is a Shawano doctor who has saved the lives of wounded soldiers - both in the operating room- and on the battlefield.

Dr. David Merritt is a physican and a Major in the U.S Army -- who's been decorated for his actions under fire.

Local 5's Terry Kovarik has his story.
