Abused dog to undergo surgeries

TOWN OF CENTER, Wis (WFRV) - A German Shepherd name Sadie was rescued after being found beaten in Geneva, Illinois. The dog is in need of surgeries to repair damage to her eye.

Cindy Filz rescued the 1 1/2 year old shepherd and brought her to the Windy Hills Kennel in the Town of Center. Sadie is expected to undergo a few surgeries to repair her eye. Its expected to cost about $6,000.
