Wisconsin High Court Refuses to Hear Voter ID Case

Wisconsin Supreme Court justices have refused to take up two lawsuits which challenge the state's voter ID law, according to wispolitics.com.
A court of appeals had asked the high court to take the cases directly after two Dane County judges issued injunctions stopping voters from having to present state-issued ID at the voting polls. The injunctions were in response to law suits filed by the League of Women Voters and the Milwaukee branch of the NAACP.
According to wispolitics.com, the justices did not offer any comment on their decision. By refusing to take the case, this means the appeals court must now hear the cases first.
