APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) Domestic abuse was the topic at a forum at Appleton Public Library Thursday night. As part of the library's Walk a Mile in My Shoes program, victims of domestic abuse spoke one-on-one with members of the community. It's a chance for people to ask questions and gain a better insight into serious issues.
Harbor House, a domestic abuse shelter, has been over capacity for nearly a year. One abuse survivor says sharing her story will help her and the community heal. Karen Kelley was abused most of her life. She'll share her story of survival with us at 10.
