WWII Veteran dies on Honor Flight to Pearl Harbor

(WFRV) Local 5 has learned a World War II veteran on his way to Pearl Harbor died in flight Thursday.

 

89-year old Sparta Native Mark Schaitel was one of 20 veterans headed to Hawaii with the Northeast Wisconsin Old Glory Honor Flights.
