When Using Wire Brushes to Clean Grill Use Caution

(CNN) Be careful when using wire brushes to clean your grill!
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is warning that more people are ending up in emergency rooms with injuries from swallowing wire bristles.
The CDC says injuries range from smalls cut in the neck to more serious conditions-- such as intestinal gashes that require emergency surgery.
So before you start flipping burgers, be sure to examine the grill surface for stray bristles.
