Muslim community holds blood drive to honor 9/11 victims

Oshkosh, Wis. (WFRV) - Tuesday marks the eleventh anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks.
Sunday those killed in the attacks were honored by some area Muslims.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim community of Oshkosh held it's second Muslims for Life blood drive.
The Koran, the Muslim holy book, condemns murders.
The blood drive was started as a positive way to honor 9/11 victims, and save lives locally.
"This is a multiple community effort community member Ahmed Kahn says. "Every bag of blood saves three lives. So we're trying to procure that value and putting it into practice and we're doing it annually."
The Muslims for Life blood drive is held between August 11th and September 11th nationwide.
