Paul Ryan honors military, firefighters on 9/11

Milwaukee, Wis. (WFRV) - Vice Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan made a few stops in honor of 9/11

 

He met with around 80 members of the Wisconsin 128th Air National Guard refueling wing in Milwaukee.

 

Ryan shook hands and thanked the members for their service.
   

He then stopped by the Oak Creek Fire Department to talk with firefighters and recognize them their service

"This is a day where we as Americans need to thank and remember those who lost their lives and be thankful for those of you who put their lives on the line every day," Ryan said.

 

Tuesday's visits come ahead of tomorrow's stop at the Cornerstone Community Ice Center in De Pere
