Appleton, Wis.(WFRV)--In the US Senate race, Democrat Tammy Baldwin brought her campaign to the Fox Valley today.
Baldwin held a small business roundtable at Fox Valley Technical College - and spent time with supporters at Harmony Cafe.
As the race enters the home stretch, Congresswoman Baldwin is trying to reach out to as many voters as possible.
She spent today talking to entrepreneurs and students about problems facing small businesses...
She also met with supporters at a local coffee shop.
Baldwin plans to spend more time northeast Wisconsin and the Fox Valley, specifically in coming days.
She says its a good opportunity to connect to undecided and independent voters.
Democratic Senate candidate Tammy Baldwin, "I'm very excited for these final days, this is an opportunity in the final week to still talk to undecided voters who are still evaluating the candidates. Also in these final days, I'm trying to rally the supporters, the volunteers who have been spending weeks and weeks preparing for election day and for early voting."
Baldwin will be back in the area tomorrow to tour a manufacturer in Manitowoc.
Local Five's Caroline Rowland sat down with her to talk about the campaign's historic spending, negative ads against her, about her opponent former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson and much more.
