Appleton, Wis. (WFRV) - Once hunters bag their deer, they'll have to decide what to do with the all that venison.

Hunt for the Hungry has been around statewide since 2000 and more than 80,000 deer have been donated so far.

Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch stopped in Appleton today to remind hunters to think about the food pantries this weekend.

"If you are not interested in keeping your meat from hunting season we do ask you to consider donating it at one of the many locations the DRN has available," she says.
