GREEN BAY, Wisc. (WFRV) Prepare for a busy rest of the week on Wisconsin's roads.

AAA projects 43.6 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more this Thanksgiving weekend, beginning tomorrow and ending Sunday. That's an increase of 0.7 percent from last year.

In Wisconsin, about 874,000 people will travel from their homes.
That's in addition to all the hunters who will be heading home after (hopefully) bagging their trophy buck.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is offering advice on when to expect the big rush and some tips make your travel safe.

Local 5's Wendy Fleury brings us more.
