Appleton, Wis. (WFRV) - A Thanksgiving lunch was served Thursday to thousands in the Fox Valley,  looking for some company and a hot meal.

Christ the Rock Church hosted its annual dinner at Monarch Gardens in Appleton.

More than 3,200 meals were dished out by a troop of 350 volunteers.

But, this event would not have been possible without the generosity of many others.

"We have gone into the community and looked for support for donations and because of them we've been able to expand, so, now we give back," church member David Lemke says, "we get from the community and we give back to the community."
