Overnight Fire Destroys Garage

MANITOWOC, Wisc. (WFRV) A garage and all its contents are a complete loss after an overnight fire in Manitowoc.

Firefighters were called to 628 N. 9th Street around 2:45am Thursday. When they arrived, the detached garage was fully engulfed in flames and the roof already collapsed.

It took firefighters about a half hour to put the fire out.

A vehicle located inside the garage was not salvageable.

A home next to the garage did sustain damage from the intense heat. Everyone was able to get out of the home safely.

No one was injured in the blaze.

Investigators continue looking for the cause.
