Webster elementary students donate $1000 to Red Cross

Green Bay, Wis (WFRV) The kids at Webster Elementary school are helping those affected by Hurricane Sandy in a big way.

   

On Thursday, the student body donated $1000 to the American Red Cross.

   

They raised the money through donations and by buying raffle tickets.

 

The Red Cross says the money will help pay for essentials like food and shelter.

 

Red Cross officials say the school's donation sends a great message to the community.
