Oshkosh, Wis. (WFRV) - It's not often you see golfers on the links on December 1st in Wisconsin.

But that's what was happening at the Lake Shore Municipal Golf Course in Oshkosh today.

The course opened for several hours to let golfers get one last round in before it shuts down for the winter.

It was a little cold and cloudy, but workers at the course say that didn't stop golfers from coming out.

"There's a lot of regulars that came out today that are willing to come out as late as they can, as cold as the weather is, they'll come out as long as we're open," Ben Sitzber, a worker at the course says. "They'll do what they can to get that last round in of the year."

Last year, the course was open until November 18th.
