Green Bay, Wis. (WFRV) - Some traditional winter fun was being had in downtown Green Bay  Saturday.

It was during the Skating Spectacular at the Citydeck ice rink.

People were able to enjoy ice skating, lawn games, and a free concert.

Special guests, including several Packers players, Mayor Jim Schmitt and Santa Claus were also on hand.

Organizers say even though today wasn't exactly wintery, it didn't stop people from having a good time.

"Who can argue the fact that we have a nice artificial skating rink downtown," Christopher Naumann of Downtown Green Bay, Inc says.  "You bring your kids, you can relax you can have a cocktail, you can have a hot chocolate.  Kids can have a fun time, and it doesn't have to be 30 below to do so."

The Skating Spectacular was coordinated by Downtown Green Bay Incorporated.
