Fatal Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Accident

TOWN OF SCOTT, Wisc. (WFRV) A 98-year-old man died after being hit by a van in Sheboygan County.

The Emergency Dispatch Center received a 911 call just after 4pm Tuesday. The person stated someone was struck by a vehicle on County road HH, south of Brazelton Road, in the Town of Scott.

The initial investigation showed 98-year-old Erhard Klug of rural Random Lake had gone out to get his mail and accidentally went into the path of a 1997 Dodge van.

Klug was taken by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, where he later died.
