GREEN BAY, Wisc. (WFRV) Many servicemen and women will spend the holidays away from home this year.

Now there is a way you can make their Christmas a little brighter by sending them a word of cheer and thanks.

The American Red Cross, along with Pitney Bowes, is collecting cards for troops and then distributing them in time for the holidays.

Local 5's Wendy Fleury went to the local Pitney Bowes in Neenah to see the flood of cards come pouring in. Click the video link above to see her report.

If you want to take part in "Holiday Mail for Heroes", send your greetings to:

Holiday Mail for Heroes

P.O. Box 5456

Capitol Heights, MD 20791-5456

All cards must be postmarked by this Friday, December 7th.
