Fond du Lac, Wis.(WFRV)--Jason Anderson's trial continued today in Fond du Lac.
The 36 year old Anderson is accused of shooting and killing his 33-year old wife, Nicole.
A lead detective in the case took the stand today.
He was questioned about a bullet casing found in the bedroom where Nicole's body was found.
Anderson claims that back in November, he shot his wife accidentally after hearing what he thought was an intruder in their Fond du Lac home.
Trial is expected to wrap up early next week.
