Victim in fatal Oshkosh fire identified

Oshkosh, Wis. (WFR) - We now know the name of the person who died in a deadly fire early Saturday morning.

   

The Oshkosh Police Department has identified the woman as 56-year-old Randi Shaw.

   

The fire happened at an apartment at 1316 Eastman street in Oshkosh.

   

Officers say autopsy results show Shaw died of smoke inhalation.

   

A dog was also found dead in the apartment.

 

There is no word on the cause of the fire

Oshkosh, Wis. (WFRV) - Police and firefighters in Oshkosh are investigating the cause of a deadly fire.

   

It happened after 4 a.m. Saturday morning at an apartment on 1316 Eastman street.

 

Officers say one person and a dog were found dead in the apartment.

 

An autopsy was scheduled for Saturday, the victim has not been identified.
