Green Bay, Wis. (WFRV) - The holiday spirit is on full display at Heritage Hill State Historical park.

The park is putting on its "Spirit of Christmas Past" event throughout the next week.

Park-goers could enjoy activities like horse drawn wagon rides, dancing, crafts, listening to Christmas stories, and much more.

Park officials say it helps people learn how Christmas was celebrated throughout history.

"We interpret history of northeast Wisconsin, but now we're doing it as Christmas would've been for the different time frames," Visitors Services Manager Sue Starzer says. "So for example for the fort, it's officers Christmas as it would have been in 1836.  It's not like how you see Christmas nowadays."

If you'd like to check it out, it runs through December 15th from noon until 6 pm.
