The shoveling begins after winter storm

Green Bay, Wis. (WFRV) - Sunday's snow storm generated lots of snow to deal with on sidewalks and driveways.

Many in Green Bay dusted off their snow-blowers and shovels to clear areas around their homes.

Some folks Local 5 spoke with say, after a mild winter last year, the latest round of winter weather wasn't that bad.

A few families even took some time to have fun with it.

"It's kinda nice," Emily Evanoff of Green Bay says, "it's kind of a little bit melty, because it's not piling up quite as fast and it's really got a nice snowglobe effect actually."

"Oh I don't mind the snow," Greg Woulf of Green Bay adds, "its the cold I can do without, I can handle the snow...it's fun."
