FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) - Closing arguments in the trial of a Fond du Lac man accused of killing his wife are set for Friday.

Jason Anderson is on trial for murdering his wife Nicole Ancerson at their home in November 2011.

Today, a friend of the suspect, Michael Harmsen took the stand and delivered some shocking testimony.

Harmsen admitted that Anderson had a gun out one night and pointed it at Nicole stating that he wanted to kill her, but the group laughed about the comment.

The witness also told the courtroom that he has lied to police, because he enjoyed giving them the runaround.

Count on Local 5 News for further updates on this case, as it could land in jurors hands Friday.
