Snowy road conditions prompt many to stay home

Green Bay, Wis.(WFRV)--Road conditions vary across the state. The Green Bay area, which saw less snow, had relatively good conditions with fewer accidents. Outagamie County authorities reported as many as 40 accidents because of snow conditions. 

For the latest on conditions in your area, check the Wisconsin DOT website. Most roads in northeast Wisconsin were reported snow covered and slippery on Thursday.

Local Five's Caroline Rowland reported on conditions from Green Bay.
