GREEN BAY (WFRV) Just about every type of preparation work is underway to get Lambeau Field ready for Saturday night's playoff game. Part of the quick transition from regular season to playoff match included notifying charities that run the game day concessions. Green Bay Sportservice Incorporated says when charities sign up post-season games are a possibility, which pays well.

"It's a little higher than a regular season game. But an average group can make about two-thousand-dollars a game," said Charlie Millerwise, General Manager for Green Bay Sportservice, Inc.

Concession stands will be fully staffed. But contractors providing other services say help is still needed.

"We're currently looking for some not-for-profit organizations to help us with the set up operations, which consists of the seat pick up and cleaning operations," said Paula Kirchman, Vice President of Human Resources and Risk Management for PMI Entertainment Group.

Groups with as few as ten people can help out and earn a little extra cash.

"Well with the regular season, groups can make anywhere from five-hundred to a thousand dollars per game," Kirchman said. "We are looking at offering a bonus for groups to work for us at the playoff games," she added.

That goes beyond helping Packer fans, contractors, and charities.

"With the additional playoff game. we think it'll put an additional 100-thousand dollars back into the community," Millerwise said.

Local 5's Terry Kovarik has the story.
