Update: Woman identified in apartment fire

New Holstein, Wis. (WFRV) - One person is dead and 5 others are sent to the hospital following a morning fire.

New Holstein police have identified 42 year old Nicole Masucci as the sole fatality.

The fire started just after six this morning at the intersection of Railroad st. and Wisconsin Ave. in downtown New Holstein.

4 apartments were involved in the fire.  

   

The other victims were transported to a local hospital and released.

The Red Cross and the Salvation Army are assisting those persons from the apartment units with housing.

The New Holstein Fire Department is investigating the fire along ith the new Holstein Police Department, the Calumet County Sherriff's Department, the ATF, and the State Fire Marshall.
