Update: Cause of New Holstein apartment fire

Green Bay, Wis (WFRV) - Authorities have now determined the cause of the apartment complex fire that left one woman dead and five others injured.

The result of the fire after the investigation indicated the fire started in the kitchen of a lower level apartment near or on a stove. Authorities say there was no evidence to indicate the fire had been intentionally set.

One long-term resident at the complex, Rick Rutkowski, tells us the building had a history of electrical problems.

The Red Cross is assisting with displaced residents.
