Green Bay, Wis.(WFRV)- The Fox Valley Humane Association is reporting a successful 2012.
Last year, the shelter says 100% of adoptable cats and dogs found homes. This is the eighth year in a row that dogs have attained that number but only the first for cats.
Officials say adoptions rose 6% last year despite a 14% decrease in incoming animals.
The FVHA will continue to gift adoption fees for cats one year and older heading into 2013.
The shelter is also thanking its volunteers. 700 spent 11,578 hours volunteering last year.
The number of adoptable rabbits is on the rise. The shelter also has a horse and a lama.
