GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) A local man who knew embattled cyclist Lance Armstrong says he knew all along allegations of performance enhancing drug use were true.

Doctor Frederick Sheppard was a chiropractor for the U.S. Men's Olympic Cycling team between 1986 and 1992.  Sheppard never treated Armstrong, but he first encountered the cyclist at a race in Belgium in 1995.  Eventually, Sheppard asked Armstrong to participate in a race in Green Bay the following year.

Local 5's Bret Lemoine sat down with Dr. Sheppard for this revealing interview tonight at 10PM on Local 5 News.  Video will be posted to this story following the broadcast.
