Update: Teens Killed in Accident Identified

Waupaca County (WFRV)-- Two local teens are dead after a car and school bus collide on slippery roads overnight.
According to State officials the accident happened on County Highway 'w' at Bean City Road. That is near New London in Waupaca County.
Just after 10 o'clock Friday night a school bus carrying 39 kids and 3 adults was traveling back to New London Middle School from a ski trip. The driver of a southbound car was negotiating a curve when the vehicle went into the opposite lane and collided with the bus.
The driver of the car, 17 year old Yalanda Maggio from Weyauwega and her passenger-- 17 year old Levi Johnson from New London died at the scene. Neither of them were wearing seatbelts.
Three children from the bus and the bus driver were transported for minor injuries and released.
The WI State Patrol says slippery roads appear to be a factor. The State Patrol is conducting the investigation.
