Brown County (WFRV)   Many of you may be familiar with Storage Wars. It's a popular series on Cable Television featuring bargain hunters bidding on storage units that the owners have abandoned or quit paying for.

Well, these types of auctions go on in our area as well.  NEW Storage holds the public Lien Auctions the second Saturday of every odd month at its three facilities.

The renters are notified by mail and phone that they are delinquent in their payments.  If they don't pay---- then their possessions go on the auction block, and storage hunters come  looking for treasure.  You never know what you'll find inside.

"A lot of household stuff, sometimes you find one of two items left in the unit.  Sometimes its cars, pickups or boats.  You know, whatever- all kinds of things."  Says Betty Porter from NEW Storage.

Chelly Boutott takes us to one Local Auction.
