West Bend, Wis.(WFRV)--A test drive went terribly wrong in southern Wisconsin.
A salesman accompanied a couple to test drive a new pick-up truck.
Soon after it started, the 39 year old man pulled out a knife and held it to the salesman's throat.
The couple pulled over, forced the salesman out, and drove off.
He eventually flagged down a motorist - and the search was on.
Washington County Sheriff Dale Schmidt, "They were known. I don't know that they thought they were going to get away with it. I think it was just a matter of buying some time."
The truck was eventually spotted at a hotel in Tampa, Florida.
The suspects were arrested and they'll soon be brought back to Wisconsin to face charges.
