NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) - An area lawmaker says it is time the state's Food Stamp program, or FoodShare as it is called in Wisconsin - was tightened up.

Representative Dean Kaufert (R-Neenah) is introducing a proposal, to make sure those getting benefits, are eating healthy foods and not wasting taxpayer dollars.

He says he has gotten too many complaints from people - who have seen FoodShare recipients, buying tenderloin, instead of ground chuck. Local 5's Kris Schuller has more.
