Originally
from Racine, he started his broadcasting career while still in college, and has been in Green Bay since 1995. Burke has done it
all from the sports perspective, from being on the field for the Packers
Super Bowl 31 victory in New Orleans as a photographer, to
anchoring WFRV's coverage of Green Bay's Super Bowl 45 win in
Dallas. Burke was the creator and host of High School SportsXtra, the first show of its kind in Northeast Wisconsin, and has
won numerous reporting and anchoring awards. He has
been the host of Sunday SportsXtra for the past 13 years, and in addition to
anchoring High School SportsXtra, he has hosted "The 5th Quarter",
and "Inside Lambeau" covering the Packers for over the past decade.
Burke is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and was a captain on
the football team as a senior. He was also a three letterman for the
Titans and the schools 1995 Sportscaster of the year.
He lives in Green Bay with his wife and three children.
