New London Girls Basketball Coach Troy Krause Stepping Down

By: Nick Goddard
Updated: April 10, 2012
Troy Krause, who led the New London girls basketball squad to back-to-back Division 2 state championships, is stepping down.

Krause told our newspaper partner, the Appleton Post-Crescent, that he informed his players Monday of his decision.

The Bulldogs have won 42 consecutive games dating back to the 2010-2011 season.  After capturing the 2011 championship, New London went 28-0 and defeated previously unbeaten New Berlin Eisenhower in March to win a second consecutive title.
